Produced through random walks across the continent, Lugar común explores the Latin American city as a constantly shifting landscape of formal and cultural relations, open to multiple forms of interpretation and editing.

Rather than documenting specific places, the project assembles an accumulation of visual fragments where repetition and variation allow classifications (formal, material, programmatic, stylistic) to emerge without fully settling, not in a strictly closed typological sense but as a form of insistence that allows for new readings in a city that is at once imagined and real.
