| Through the documentation of a specific type of architecture in Santiago that most clearly embodies the aspirations of the political project since the return to democracy in 1990 —a period that coincided with Chile’s boom in architecture centered on individual authorship—, this series proposes a kind of anticipatory archaeology of the ruins left behind by the unfulfilled materialization of the political and economic model’s promise of modernization. |
